When I started Good Grooves Music Lessons and Therapy during a pandemic, I didn’t know if we would make it to this point, but here we are!
I’m so excited to to announce that we have a new studio location!
4905 Pine Cone Drive, Suite 12, Durham, NC 27707
In addition to our convenient in-home lessons, we will also have private lessons, groups, summer programming, music therapy, and events at the Good Grooves Music studio!
Before we are able to open for students, we have some renovations to complete. Here are some before pics…
Renovation plans include:
-removing the temporary wall between the lobby and the staff area and building a permanent wall with a door
-building a staff work bar with outlets and charging ports
-a small couch, chair, charging side table, and coffee/water bar in the lobby
-secure staff and guest wifi networks
-replacing the floating sink and towel rack in the bathroom with a vanity and paper towel holder
-closing in the “vestibule” and creating a storage closet for instruments and props
-sunshade window coverings to control light and heat in the studio and staff areas
-sound absorbing panels on the wall to control sound in the studio
-sound absorbing moveable wall to create a smaller lesson room within the larger studio space
-brand new Roland RP102 88-Key Digital Console Pianos for private lessons and group classes
-a smart tv in the lesson room for casting sheet music, lesson plans, musical games, etc.
