This summer, we have an exciting lineup of music camps at Good Grooves Music. We invite music learners ages 4 and up to explore and enhance their musical abilities in a fun, friendly, and nurturing environment. Our camps include piano, ukulele, and rock band, designed to meet the varied interests of our students.
In our piano camps, students will get a chance to delve deep into the world of melodies and harmonies. During our Little KeyNotes Piano Camp the world of piano unfolds through creativity and joy. These classes are tailored specifically for your 4-5 year-olds. Themes include Animal Alphabet, Summer Fun, Circus, and Under the Sea. Our Storytellers Piano Camp is where the magic of piano unfolds through an innovative and programmatic curriculum designed to captivate young learners ages 6-9. Our approach goes beyond traditional piano lessons, immersing students in a world where music becomes a language of character, mood, feelings, and storytelling. For beginners ages 8 and up, our Escape Room Piano Camp will have students embarking on an exciting musical adventure where notes turn into clues, and keys hold the secrets to unlocking their creativity on the piano! Our beginner piano programs are not just about playing keys, they are a musical adventure that spark curiosity and set the stage for a lifelong love of music.
Our Ukulele Camp offers a unique opportunity to learn this delightful instrument in a group setting. The ukulele is a perfect instrument for beginners due to its easy learning curve, and our dedicated teachers will ensure your child has a fantastic learning experience. Students will be learning some of their favorite songs during the week and engaging in crafts and games that reinforce their ukulele skills!
For students inclined towards a more modern musical style, our Rock Band Camp is the perfect choice. Here, students will have the opportunity to play the guitar, bass, keys, and drums and will collaborate with peers, learn to play in a band, play their favorite songs, and even write and perform their own songs. This camp is for students ages 8 and up.
In addition to our summer camps, we also offer private music lessons throughout the summer in Chapel Hill and Durham. These classes are designed to provide personalized instructions tailored to your specific needs and goals.
